  1. £40k PA 4 on 4 off, and you want to trade cars? You need your head feeling. Im still in the motor/leisure vehicle industry, I dont trade cars anymore, I did it for many years and managed to escape. Still have friends in the game and lurk around on here so have a fair idea of the job. Dont give up the day job
  2. Another nail in to the coffin of the High Street
  3. We dont have a card machine. Bank transfer all the way
  4. If we listen to the media and lefty Corbin we'll actually believe there is a recession. Its utter bollocks, we have been as busy as ever, my average camper conversion cost has gone up in the last 6 months or so, people seem to be going the extra mile rather than skinflinting it. Customer of mine who owns a window firm has had is best year ever! My Rock n Roll bed suppliers, waiting list is 6-8 weeks. Poptop roof supplier is about 3 week leadtime cause they are that busy Speaking to my landlord last week, they are building a fair sized industrial Park, 120 houses, old folks home and nursery. All of the industrial units are pre-rented, the houses are selling.
  5. Just had to put a brand new engine + clutch + dmf + freshly serviced turbo's in to a 180 biturbo Transporter. Not sure there is much change from £4k.
  6. Wish Id have become fighter pilot

    White dog shit
  8. All sorted now thanks to CB.. And it is clear
  9. £2700 gets you a new BiTurbo CFCA engine form TPS, just make sure he blanks off and maps out the EGR as that the cause of the problem.
  10. Im looking to buy a VW Transporter that is currently on Irish plates. It was a UK (N.I) registered van, then went to southern Ireland for a short period. I do know the original UK reg no but that does not exist any longer, so if it can be done using the chassis no or maybe the old UK number id happily throw one of you guys a pint or two. Thanks
  11. Legally I dont know where you and he stand. Morally Id have just given it back, Twat or not there is nothing wrong with good customer relations.
  12. Seems a tad harsh to me, a few days holding the car isn't the end of the world. If you have held it for a couple of weeks then fair enough keep the deposit.
  13. Id love to find vans with no VAT. A no VAT van means VAT margin for me which is a fair difference in my favour to what the VAT man takes.
