  1. That’s nuts. They should look at how much value it’s lost - is £20k car brand new now being sold for £2k you are buying the last 10% of the car. Expect 90% of it to be gone. Luxury model ffs
  2. Parrot is the way forward here (as above), we had same on a Fiesta and it worked out loads cheaper and customer happy.
  3. Mad. We've done more this November than we did in November & December combined last year. No rhyme or reason to it all I don't think.
  4. We had the phone melt on the same car in grey just before summer this year, but it was only 80k miles and super mint.
  5. We still pay 100+vat for wheel refurb and that includes any colour change not gone up since I started (nearly 8 years)
  6. For dent man or whatever I just ask him what day he’s coming as we are open anyway smart repair different he comes at 10am sharp and stays til everything is done

Some of the best car's we sold both prep wise and the odd minter we've bought in, I've then seen them out and about or in local tesco say 3-6 months later and they are already wrecked, you just think whats the point? It's usually the most fussy customers in the first place too... cars*. Need edit button.
  8. Definitely touch up/in both. Neither justify the extra spend imo.
  9. You might see this as defeatist but I relax each month the minute the overheads are covered. Sometimes that can be in week 1 or in week 4, but that's when the pressure alleviates for me. It only really started to feel like this when I went solely on my own so everything good or bad rests on me.
  10. We've basically done half our the whole months trade on Saturday and Sunday this week (8 deals). I really don't know where it came from but it was massively helpful and has kept the wolves from the door properly.
  11. We dont get full benefit but we can advertise everything that’s due in and can avoid rotating a few off as we normally do. think we are 28 and 4 bargain cars

  20. Yeah good point that our deals today 8k, 6k, 4k & £3.5k got 3 sub 2k part ex’s to go on so we will see how we do - top spec diesel auto rover 75 with 82k (I know) 2008 grand scenic 70odd k 2004 Clio billabong with 80k Fingers crossed

  22. 4 today, 12 for the month. It's not gonna break any records or make me rich but the bills are paid in November and we have 6 days to add some cream on top (and a few appointments tbf).
