While taking an old VW diesel  Sharan in part exchange,,customer said she had had a new battery fitted

at Halfords,and when she drove home car was running strangely.

Next day she went back and battery was fitted wrong terminalsl connected.ie negative terminal to positive.

Did car engine start in reverse rotation do you think?

A wasted opportunity imo, this could have broken the land speed record for a car going in reverse.

No joke, she said it did £800 of damage to alternator and electrics, they paid for.

I did forget that it would be going backwards, so must have been rotating correctly.

Was it a 2 stroke,  or was it blow, bang, squeeze, suck.

 

You have to admire halfrauds, they do seldom right, charge top money and make a profit.

I know a local Garage who put his starter charger on his 4 year old Vivaro last week, starter charger was left on 24 Volts from starting a lorry, Vivaro is an economical write off !!
