Used Kias rise by 67%

Time 2:59 am, November 6, 2010

kia_picantoSALES of approved used Kias have risen 67 per cent so far in 2010 compared to last year’s sales figures.

Since its re-launch in April 2009 Kia’s Approved Used car programme has seen sales of more than 5,000 cars.

Used sales of the Picanto city car have risen by 244 cent from 2009, while the cee’d range has risen by 119 per cent.

David McCluskey, national used vehicle sales manager, Kia Motors (UK) Ltd. said:  ‘We have reached our sales target already with two months still to go and I’m positive that we will have a strong finish to 2010.

‘Our strong sales network of 153 approved used car dealers- which accounts for over 95 per cent of our network – are doing a great job.’

All used Kias are available with their warranty topped up to the original, seven year level – whether that be three, five or seven years according to model and date of registration – says McCluskey.

‘It’s not just our new car seven year warranty that is grabbing headlines. This outstanding warranty is extended to all used cars, which makes the Kia used car programme one of the best available.’
