G3 Remarketing launches appraisal app for motor finance customers

Time 10:38 am, January 31, 2019

G3 REMARKETING has launched an innovative appraisal app for motor finance customers to create and submit their own in-depth evaluation reports.

The Go Appraise app lets users easily submit a step-by-step walk-around video alongside HD images to show the current state of the exterior and interior of any vehicle from any location, using their own smartphone or tablet device. It also includes a checklist to log important value factors such as spare keys, handbooks and service documents.

Once this information is submitted, the app then instantly creates and sends an appraisal report direct to the lender. This can start discussions with the finance house and significantly support any vehicle handback, including PCP or voluntary termination.

The app enables users to create and submit their own in-depth evaluation reports using its advanced features.

Go Appraise can be downloaded for both iPhone and iPad and is updated for the latest version of Google Android.

Automotive finance provider Billing Finance is an early adopter and director Shannon Faulkner said: ‘This technology will give Billing visibility on the current state of the vehicles and ensure that there is transparency for any customer obligations regarding the vehicle condition at the point of contract termination.

‘It allows for a conversation with the customer on the condition of the vehicle which aligns with the “treating customers fairly” principle.’

G3 sales and marketing director Roger Evans said: ‘Our business has made significant steps forward with the value-added technologies we can now offer our vendors. We’re delighted that Billing Finance has built our product into their process and will look forward to working with them through 2019 and beyond.’
