Green concerns up

Time 8:39 am, July 27, 2008

rsggdgd.jpgA green motoring website has revealed just what’s concerning its readers.

Analysis of page view data shows that rising fuel prices has corresponded with an upturn in ‘clicks’ to its list of the most economical cars on sale.

Changes to the VED road tax have also been clearly worrying readers at www.thegreencarwebsite.co.uk (who, by their very nature, car buyers, too).

Indeed, buyers seem determined to save cash if they can – there’s increasing interest in sections on LPG conversions and the pros and cons of biofuels.

When nearly 10 per cent of the visitors to a sprawling motoring site are looking at a list of what are the most economical cars on sale, it really does show the importance increasing numbers are placing on green issues.

Are your staff up to speed with your green message?
