Heartlands Ford goes home

Time 7:23 pm, June 23, 2008

heartlands_ford.jpgBIRMINGHAM-based dealer group Heartlands Ford will ‘return home’ this autumn – to a brand-new state of the art dealership.

Work has just started on the new premises in Birmingham’s Perry Barr. The site will form part of the Tameside Park development, a 14-acre mixed use development that already has a Wickes Extra and Goals plc footie centre.

The new premises will end Heartland’s three-year temporary residence in a former dairy across the road. It moved back in January 2005, to make way for the Tameside development.

The new dealership, to be opened this autumn, will employ all of the current 20-plus employees and will feature Ford’s high standards of ‘Look and Style’, with space for four new cars in the showroom, a servicing workshop with five bays and a forecourt for used cars.

‘Heartlands Ford is very excited that the development of our new site is underway and our staff are looking forward to the move,’ said Nigel Volrath, General Manager, Heartlands Ford.
