A NEW FOREST dealership has joined the growing MG Motor UK network.

Alongside the MG3 supermini and MG GS SUV, Meadens MG, which is in Sway, Hampshire, will also welcome the all-new MG XS Compact SUV when it enters the UK at the end of 2017.

Jack Sexton, Meadens MG brand manager, said: ‘We were attracted to the MG franchise as we felt it offered something the area currently lacks. MG made the process straightforward and it has been with a real sense of ease that we have started working together. MG makes stylish cars that are bursting with extras – something that we anticipate will gain a lot of traction in the local area.’

Matthew Cheyne, head of sales and marketing at MG Motor UK, added: ‘Expanding our network continues to be a big focus this year, following impressive sales growth year-on-year. There is a real sense of excitement about the future of MG, and welcoming companies such as Meadens MG, with its strong reputation for quality and outstanding customer service, is an important part of our brand investment.’

Following a successful exhibition at Stewarts Garden Centre in Christchurch in June, Meadens MG took a collection of vehicles to the New Milton Motor Show last month.

The family-run dealership, which has been in business for more than 25 years, also has a showroom in Brockenhurst, Hampshire. MG was voted the fifth best manufacturer in the UK in the Auto Express Driver Power Awards in 2016.
