RYAN Shilton, 34, has been promoted to used car sales manager at Crewe Volkswagen, part of the family-owned and run Swansway Motor Group.
And he’s pretty pleased with his new job.
Hilton said: ‘I’m absolutely thrilled to have been promoted to this role. I’ve been at Stoke Audi, another Swansway Motor Group business, for six-and-a-half years, starting as a sales executive and working my way up into a senior executive role.
‘I’ve been in car sales for 10 years and this is the opportunity I’ve been waiting for, so I’m going all out to prove I’m made to be a manager!’
Shilton loves his cars, attending the Goodwood Festival of Speed every year, and even has his job to thank for meeting his wife, as he explained: ‘I met the love of my life when I was working at Stoke Audi and sold her an Audi A1, something else I have to thank Swansway for!
‘I was attracted to Swansway because it was a successful, expanding family-run business with an excellent reputation within the motor industry and I thought working for a family business would give me more opportunities to further my career; all this and finding my wife too!’
