Sinclair Volkswagen Cardiff triumphs at annual CitNOW video awards

Time 4:42 pm, July 13, 2016

CitNOW, the automotive video technology experts, have named Sinclair Volkswagen Cardiff as the overall winner of its 2016 Video Awards.

Sinclair’s brand consultant Stephanie Ranson and transaction manager Sophie Lewis impressed the judges with an in-depth demonstration of adaptive cruise control. The entry takes the overall prize as well and wins the ‘most creative use of CitNOW video’ category.

Video presenter, Stephanie, said: ‘Our winning video took us a few takes to get right because the roads were quite bumpy – we didn’t ever think it would be special enough to win an award.’

Accolades were also received for excellence in video across sales, workshop and bodyshop departments as well as entrants who submitted informative video for web use.

Halliwell Jones Mini Wilmslow is also the first winner of the Chairman’s Award. New for 2016, the award was presented for an innovative entry, which used placards to add a personalised message to a new car delivery.

Winners were selected by a panel of automotive experts from hundreds of entries from leading dealer groups in the UK and overseas as well as a number of independent garages and workshops.

Andrew Howells, Chairman and Founder of CitNOW, commented: ‘All of the winning and commended entries here richly deserve the recognition that these unique awards are designed to give.

‘We warmly congratulate all of our winners and entrants.’

CitNOW’s 2016 Video Awards took place today at Bafta in Piccadilly, London.
