BELMONT Suzuki is a car dealer that’s prospering despite the economic downturn.
The Edinburgh dealer, part of the John Martin Group, reports half of its quarterly retail sales were made during October alone.
It will surpass its 100 per cent objective before the end of November.
This is bucking the usual trend of the pre-Christmas period.
The Grand Vitara took 20 per cent of the Suzuki dealer’s sales. The Swift also sold well, reports Belmont. 65 per cent of those Swift buyers took up the option of Suzuki’s 0 per cent APR finance offer.
John Shelley, sales manager for Belmont Suzuki, said: ‘It has been a very encouraging start to the last months of the year. The Suzuki product range offers exceptional value for money, coupled with the affordable means of buying a car, which is a very attractive formula when many motorists are looking to make their income go that much further.’
