Whale gets Ferrari, Maserati

Time 7:37 am, July 18, 2008

07-nickwhalemaserati.jpgSPECIALIST dealer Nick Whale is now the approved Ferrari and Maserati dealer for Central England.

The brands join Whales portfolio of Porsche, BMW and MINI.

Launching on August 4th, the supercars will be sold from Nick Whale SportCars in Bromsgrove, which is currently undergoing a £250,000 refit to reflet the status of the famous marqoeus. But that’s not all.

In two years, the supercars will move to a brand-new, purpose-built site in Solihull. This multi-million pound development is to create over 20 new jobs, leaving the Bromsgrove site to continue selling used sports and performance cars from all brands (and eras – Whale caters for the classic car fan, too).

The credit crunch doesn’t seem to be precluding Whale’s plans, either.

‘Whilst the credit crunch crisis is affecting parts of the motor industry, we are fortunately experiencing continued demand across our portfolio of prestige luxury marques,’ said Whale, a former racing driver and BRDC member.

‘This is being driven by the shortage of high quality pre-owned vehicles, and we are confident that our passion for sports cars will fuel interest in the two new marques and introduce a new breed of owner to Ferrari and Maserati’, he added.

‘Interest in the Ferrari California, which makes its debut in 2009, is already huge amongst its following of loyal and new enthusiasts to the brand.’
