WEST SUSSEX dealership Yeomans has won a global award from Nissan.

Recognising achievements in a number of different areas, the award looked at customer satisfaction rates, sales successes and more – with just 117 dealerships handed the trophies worldwide.

Yeomans – associated with the Nissan brand for nearly 20 years – are a privately owned dealer with around 25 members of staff, operating from three locations across West Sussex.

This isn’t the first award the dealer group has under its hat – their Eastbourne Toyota dealer won a similar award last year. Named ‘centre of the year’ by the firm, the award was given in recognition of similar achievements in customer satisfaction and sales.

‘The whole team really deserves this award,’ said Yeomans’s general manager Gary Miles. ‘I am involved in all areas of our business and without doubt we have worked hard to get this award across every department.’

‘We’re a long-standing dealership and we’ve always enjoyed good customer loyalty and success. We’ve certainly got a good team and it’s important for customers to see the same people when they visit us. The whole team deserves credit. We have people who have been with us since the beginning and this is so important to us as a dealership.’

Nissan’s president and CEO Carlos Ghosn told the team: ‘To win the Nissan Global Award is recognition of your hard work and evidence of your team’s performance. You belong to a very exclusive circle of excellence.’

Also awarded in the ceremony were Fred Coupe Nissan, based in Preston, and J S Holmes of Cambridgeshire – marking just three dealers in the UK to be rewarded in the ceremony.
