THE AA has bought-out its long-running rival and Britain’s biggest driving school, BSM, for just £1.
The buy-out will see more than 2,000 jobs safe-guarded, 30,000 customers kept happy, and 100 years of BSM-history preserved.
Plans to expand the number of BSM instructors collapsed recently, prompting the company to fall into administration and the AA buying the firm for £1.
BSM will now join Acromas – which owns the AA Driving School and SAGA – but the two driving schools will continue to trade separately.
