alfa-heads-north-with-lloydITALIAN car manufacturer Alfa Romeo has announced 2011’s registration figures were the highest since 2002.

At the year’s end, Alfa had registered 11,563 cars – the highest yearly registration figure since 2002. The firm’s market share also rose in 2011 by 30.8 per cent.

Alfa Romeo puts its success down to a combination of factors, from the latest product line-up, to its improved dealer network – which now boasts a top 10 positioning in the J.D. Power UK customer satisfaction survey – and highly competitive finance and incentive offers available on each model.

Head of brand for Alfa Romeo UK, Damien Dally, said: ‘To record such an impressive market share increase in a shrinking auto market is testament to the Alfa Romeo brand that is now available in the UK. We have two leading products on offer, and have been able to win back customers who may have shied away from the brand in the past.

‘However it’s not only the product that needs to be right. That’s why we’ve worked tirelessly to improve our dealer network – which now has a top 10 J.D. Power placing.

‘In addition, both Giulietta and MiTo are available on competitive low finance rates, along with a free inclusive Alfa care package which includes three years complimentary servicing. With the Alfa 4C due next year, Alfa Romeo’s future looks bright.’
