ASTON Barclay has signed a 12 month exclusive contract to remarket vehicles on behalf of the WR Davies Dealer Group.
Primarily utilising Aston Barclay’s Prees Heath site in Whitchurch, Shropshire, the contract which will see the disposal of up to 1,500 vehicles, will also encompass Aston Barclay’s auction houses in Chelmsford, Essex, and Westbury, Wiltshire.
WR Davies is a family-owned business with Ford, Renault, Toyota, Citroen and Nissan dealerships in mid and North Wales and Staffordshire.
Tim Hudson, Aston Barclay’s managing director, said: ‘We have been under trial by WR Davies for the past year or so, securing a 12 month exclusive contract to sell vehicles on their behalf is testament to the high level of service we now proudly provide.’
Doug Conway, general manager of WR Davies, said: ‘From selling a £100 banger to a pristine £14k BMW, Aston Barclay have been extremely thorough. The high level of personal service we have received has been second to none, from the preparation of cars prior to sales to instant feedback almost immediately after the hammer has come down – nothing has been too much trouble.’
