LUXURY maker Aston Martin has announced Hanno Kirner as their new chief financial officer.
Kirner, 39, will be based at Aston Martin’s global headquarters in Gaydon, and will form part of the firm’s executive board of management reporting directly to chief executive Dr Ulrich Bez.
Kirner joins Aston Martin from Rolls-Royce where he served as director for finance & IT, and was part of the luxury maker’s board of directors. Prior to this role, Kirner also held a number of senior roles with the BMW Group.
Dr Ulrich Bez commented: ‘Hanno brings a broad range of experience at a global level in the luxury automotive industry and I am very pleased to welcome him to Aston Martin.
‘Hanno will play a key role in helping us to continue to build and grow a strong, global and independent Aston Martin business in the future.’
