Buyer e-mail finder launched

Time 7:23 am, October 16, 2008

picture-1.jpgBUYERS are to be hooked up with dealers more easily, with the launch of a new, ‘unique’ service.

Findsyou allows buyers to post details of their specific requirements online. Dealers are e-mailed all the leads relevant to them, and can respond by contacting the potential buyer directly.

During the launch phase, it’s a free service for dealers, too. And has so far attracted over 1000 of them.

‘We believe that the internet has not been used effectively or efficiently by the motor trade in the past to put buyers and sellers together,’ said CEO Guy Walker.

How does it work? ‘We allow buyers to ‘Simply Ask’ for that car. An online search always shows car buyers the people who (following the launch phase) have paid to be found – a list supplied by your computer.

As it is a ‘real person’ reply, rather than an automated gizmo, dealers have more opportunity to personalize replies. This is a good way of creating a positive customer service perception early on – one that could ultimately seal the deal.

‘Findsyou will help the trade to identify, efficiently, what a buyer is looking for in terms of the make, model and specification. We don’t promise to solve the tough times, but we have introduced something which will be useful to all dealers.’
