RENAULT dealer Holden Norwich has just handed over a £20,000 Renault Laguna in a national draw.
The competition was held as part of the Laguna 24-hour test drive programme. Andrew Howell was the prize winner, and has taken delivery of a Laguna GT dCi 180.
Happily for the Renault dealer, he’s an existing customer. Howell has owned 4 Renault over the past 9 years – the Laguna replaces his existing Megane Renaultsport 225.
‘A friend of mine suggested taking the Laguna for a 24-hour test drive. However, we never gave the competition another thought.
‘In fact, I got a call at work from my wife Melanie, asking if I’d entered a competition to win a car – we almost threw the letter in the bin, not quite believing it was genuine!
‘Once we had confirmation from Renault, we went into Holden, saw the new Laguna GT in the showroom, and we instantly fell in love with it. Also, with the current economic climate, this news could not have come at a better time!’
Phil Miller, general manager at Holden Renault, said: ‘We were delighted to hand over the Laguna GT to a valued customer.’
The next big event for the car dealer? The launch of the Laguna Coupe on 2 January. Customers will be hoping the Heigham Street dealer’s luck continues…
