CAR DEALER Magazine editor James Batchelor will be appearing on the BBC’s The One Show tonight to talk about electric cars.
Presenter Matt Allwright will be quizzing him about their history and important long-term future, in particular the rise and fall of the Enfield 8000 – the Isle of Wight’s first and only electric car.
Batchelor said: ‘It was a great opportunity to examine this major issue in the car industry. I just hope the colour of my trousers doesn’t cause viewers’ sets to malfunction!’
The half-hour programme, which gets five million viewers a day on average, airs on BBC One at 7pm and will be available on the BBC iPlayer for seven days afterwards.
