Launched today in the iTunes Store, the iPad edition is a digital recreation of our award winning printed magazine.
Produced in conjunction with App Creatives, the iPad edition offers users of Apple’s tablet the ability to view the magazine’s content with the addition of multimedia elements.
‘We’ve tried to keep the App as simple as possible, but still give users something extra over the printed edition of the magazine,’ explained James Baggott, editor of Car Dealer.
‘We have the ability to link pages of the magazine to videos and websites, we can integrate full web pages into adverts and can even embed videos directly onto pages.
‘By offering free downloads and subscriptions to the App we’re opening up Car Dealer Magazine to a worldwide audience. We’ve invested in this App as a commitment to our advertisers to prove we are willing to put their messages in front of even more motor trade professionals and give our valued readers something extra.’
These include the 50 year sales battle between Ford and Vauxhall, 50 key motoring events of the last 50 years and the magazine’s latest trading up challenge for charity BEN which sees the editor take on TV’s Mike Brewer as they attempt to make the most money out of £50 cars.
