Dealer crash service

Time 8:15 am, February 23, 2009

car-dealers-get-special-accident-serviceACCIDENT management specialist RVM Auto Assist has just launched a new service for car dealers.

The accident and claims management service will help dealers to both help customers with crashed motors – and increase revenue from accident repair work.

It works by giving dealers the chance to set up their own branded ‘accident aftercare’ service. This means dealers can give customers a membership pack, and offer a special 24/7 helpline.

There’s also money to be made for dealers in selling parts and commissioning credit hire replacement cars. RVM even promises to ensure these cars are the latest model of their crashed motor – encouraging dealer and brand loyalty.

As for repair work itself, RVM will book it into the dealer’s own or other nominated bodyshop, thus generating labour and part sales.

RVM has invested big in a hi-tech system to manage claims automatically. This means turnaround times are short, making the dealer look super-efficient.

Tracey Taylor, joint MD of RVM Auto Assist, said: ‘Signing up to the accident aftercare scheme is a great way for dealers to offer their customers added value from their relationship, and at the same time, generate additional revenue by managing their accident claims.

Even better, she added, ‘it costs nothing to join!’ Find out more details at www.rvmautoassist.co.uk
