Get fit lose weight with PorschePORSCHE dealers are now able to help car buyers beat the post-Christmas bulge and get into shape for 2009.

The sports car brand’s Silverstone Porsche Human Performance Centre is a fully equipped sports and fitness centre. It’s now open to customers who want to assess their own performance, using the latest hi-tech equipment.

Porsche has designed a series of packages that dealers can promote to customers, which are run by 3 fully-qualified sports scientists.


As owners vow to offset Christmas indulgences, it’s a great way for Porsche dealers to upsell aftersales with a difference – and also help promote the sports car brand.

Courses start at £49, and include the following options:

•    Wellness Check
£49: Blood pressure check, blood glucose and cholesterol testing, body composition analysis and consultation on results


•    Wellness Assessment
£195: Lifestyle consultation, body composition analysis, blood pressure check, blood glucose and cholesterol testing, lung function assessment, eyesight screening specific for driving, reaction and co-ordination testing specific for driving, flexibility and strength test, comprehensive consultation on results

•    Exercise Package (optional addition to Wellness Assessment)
£95: Sub-maximal exercise test, aerobic capacity estimation, aerobic training zone identification, access to on-line training diary, further option of monthly training plans and personal training sessions to provide the structure and motivation for a healthier lifestyle

•    Nutritional Package (optional addition to Wellness Assessment)
£195: Nutritional consultation, hydration assessment, determination of metabolic rate (RMR), further option to start Nutrichef Meal Plan

•    Pro-Am Training
£3995 for a 12 month period: Pro-Am service provides motorsport specific training and laboratory assessments to ensure a racing driver is maximising their physical potential.
