GRS celebrates increase

Time 7:28 am, April 16, 2010

pbr-to-cause-used-car-price-riseGRS Commercial has celebrated its first birthday with a huge sales increase for quarter one of 2010.

The division was set up by the remarketing firm to help dealers who wanted to start selling LCVs.

A year on, it has increased dealer customers by 22 percent – thanks, said sales manager Ian McAdam, to recognising ‘the important role that commercial vehicles can play in maintaining a dealer’s profitability – particularly in the current economic climate.

‘Many dealers are turning to commercial vehicles as an alternative profit source. We are determined that in 2010 we will help any dealer capitalise on this opportunity.’

The commercial team aims to help dealers remarket LCVs which, in turn, will help GRS become the largest remarketer of LCVs in the UK. By helping dealers grow their business, so too will the firm’s profile grow.

‘We believe that the focus and investment we have made in the commercial sector, combined with our quality and trade guarantees ensures that no-one else in the country can match what we have to offer dealers,’ said McAdam.
