TOP TV chefs The Hairy Bikers stopped their busy production schedule to pick up a new car from Motorpoint.
One half of the duo, David Myers, took time out of filming to make the 200-mile round trip to pick up his VW Touareg 2.4 TDI 5dr Auto from the independent dealer, winner of the Car Dealer Independent Dealer Website of the Year in our 2008 Ewards.
Myers purchased the car on Motorpoint’s website where he managed to save himself £13,000 by buying from the company.
‘I was absolutely delighted with the service I received, not just when I enquired about the car, but also when I went to Burnley to collect it – the whole process was fast and efficient throughout,’ said Myers.
Motorpoint have seen many celebrities chose to buy cars from them. Cricketer Ian Botham has bought a number of vehicles from the car supermarket giant, while TV presenter Anne Robinson and racing driver Damon Hill have also bought from the firm.
