Time 8:44 am, August 7, 2012

MANHEM has appointed Tim Hudson as its CEO of its remarketing and automotive services business in Australia.

Hudson joins Manheim from Aston Barclay where he was managing director for almost two years.

His global experience includes time in senior management at LeasePlan, where he was managing director for LeasePlan International. Prior to that, he was commercial and operations director for the company’s UK operation.

John Bailey, to whom Hudson will report, said: ‘I am delighted that we have been able to secure Tim in this important position. With his knowledge of the industry and previous experience, he’s the ideal person to lead Manheim’s exciting developments in Australia.

‘Together with a number of Manheim colleagues, I’ve known him personally for many years and this means we can hit the ground running.’

Manheim has nine locations throughout Australia, New Zealand and Thailand offering a total range of services including remarketing, retail and defleet, as well as an extensive vehicle salvage operation. Additionally, the company sells plant and machinery, plus a wide range of recreational vehicles, boats and marine equipment.
