HYUNDAI has appointed a new UK Marketing Director. Andrew Cullis, 38, will have responsibility for implementing a marketing strategy to fit in with the Korean car maker’s ambitious expansion plans for the British market.

Cullis has more than 18 years’ experience in the motor industry encompassing a range of responsibilities.

He comes to Hyundai from Citroen, where he was Head of Product and Brand Strategy. Prior to this he held various posts at Vauxhall Motors over a 16-year period, including Brand Manager and Group Product Manager respectively.

Cullis said: ‘Hyundai is widely recognised as being a brand on the rise. It has a highly respected UK dealer network, solid UK sales record and a superb product line-up – and there is more on the horizon.

‘I am delighted to be joining Hyundai, the world’s sixth largest car manufacturer, at a pivotal point of its development here in the UK and across the world.’
