The iFreeplay headphones are designed to work with Apple iPod Shuffle models – the music player slots perfectly into the left-hand side earphone.
All the controls are left accessible, although turning up the volume can be a little tricky as it’s slightly obscured. You’ll also have to remember which buttons do what as obviously you can’t see what you’re doing.
Sound quality is superb – noticeably better than with the free ones you get with a Shuffle and we like the fact they only weigh 43g.
We found they were ideal for using in the garage while cleaning or working on your car and there was no noticeable effect on the MP3 player’s battery life when using the iFreeplays either.
