A development opportunity has arisen for a motivated, professional and versatile individual to join the Service & Parts departments at our Middlewich site working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm and alternate Saturday mornings from 8am to 12noon.

Reporting to the Reporting to the Business Manager, the main job function will be to organise the activities of the Service Reception to ensure that efficiency and profitability targets are met through satisfying customers and creating an environment where its staff develop and excel. The Aftermarket Supervisor will also be responsible for supporting the parts department operationally.

The role will be also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the profitable and efficient operation of the Service Reception making sure that the reception is staffed at all times;
  • Ensuring that all work is processed in a productive and efficient manner in line with Company quality requirements and the OTI GVS/WPP process;
  • To ensure that service work is scheduled to customer vehicles in an efficient manner advising customers of additional work as necessary;
  • Supporting the parts department under the control and request of the parts supervisor.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Previous experience of working within a Service environment and/or a similar role is essential, the candidate should have a good understanding of the Commercial Vehicle industry. Previous experience in a supervisory role would be required.
  • Candidates should have prior experience within a parts department and/or sales experience.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Able to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team and perform under pressure;
  • IT literate with Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Word PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Have a full and current UK driving licence, an LGV Class 1 licence would be a distinct advantage.
