  • Responsible for sales of the Mercedes-Benz & Smart brands
  • Responsible for dealing with all enquiries and interactions with customers (appointed customer activity, physical contract reviews, handovers)
  • KPI’s – Sales Targets, Mystery Shops & customer feedback via the Mercedes-Benz CSI systems, Quality Control Oversight, Walk-In Enquiry to Order, Walk-In Enquiry to Test Drive, Outbound Prospecting, Physical Contract Reviews
  • Financial – delivering sales & generating income in line with annual budgets


  • Communicates the Mercedes-Benz culture of quality and excellence
  • Deliver sales in line with the company standards and processes
  • Participates in planning & working sales campaigns and promotions
  • Ensures the showroom and used car display is always to the highest standards and in line with CWC expectations
  • Communicates and develops strong personal relationships with customers
  • Communicates customers’ expectations/requirements to the Transaction and Sales managers
  • Works closely with the Transaction Manager and Digital Star Expert to ensure a seamless customer journey from point of initial contact through to vehicle handover
  • Offers sound advice and product knowledge to customers on vehicles, prices, specifications and technical data
  • Telephone follow-up of ongoing enquiry in collaboration with the Transaction Manager and where appropriate revisit previous enquiry
  • Conducts contract reviews
  • Deals with end of finance contract vehicle hand backs
  • Uses knowledge of the competition to highlight advantages to customers
  • Assesses used cars and conducts technical appraisals on part-exchange vehicles
  • Provides information to customers on their unaccompanied test drives and then evaluates/communicates results to line manager
  • Arranges delivery for an unaccompanied home visit test drive when requested by the customer and then evaluates/communicates results to line manager
  • Promotes sales and service packages/bolt-ons in line with FCA requirements
  • Makes an appropriate introduction of the Transaction Manager within the Sales Process
  • Concludes sales in a professional manner and with the best interest of the company and customer
  • Ensures that vehicles are ready for handover as per an agreed schedule
  • Undertakes final checks of vehicles to ensure quality of preparation is in accordance with required standard
  • Organises all administrative aspects of the transaction and ensures all documentation has been prepared and is available at the time of handover
  • Supports site teams and central administration with the progress of preparation, ensuring all agreements at point of order are fulfilled
  • Undertakes vehicle handovers, in line with company policy, ensuring the customer is fully aware of vehicle specification and has received & handed over all relevant documentation
  • Undertakes ‘click and collect’ appointed handovers
  • Provides the customer with contacts in other departments to support the overall customer experience
  • During the vehicle purchase, maintains and co- ordinates the service to the customer across all departments
  • Reviews customer satisfaction and implements improvements
  • Communicates clearly, regularly and promptly with the customer, their line manager and colleagues
  • Identifies training and development needs as part of the performance management process
  • Ensures all processes are effective pre & post delivery in line with the company & franchise requirements
  • Ensures the safety and security of people, vehicles and property at all times, reporting any known faults or hazards
  • Ensures all capital outlay is authorised by their line manager or a director



  • Demonstrates their enthusiasm and passion for selling the Mercedes-Benz & Smart brands within the Motor Industry
  • Is highly motivated, articulate and communicates effectively
  • Has sound product knowledge and is trained in sales
  • Previous experience in delivering a high level of customer service
  • Enjoys exceeding customer expectations
