Salary:  up to £25,000 + benefits

The Company:

Our client is a second-generation family business with several stores dedicated to delivering excellent products and services to the cycling community at every level. Their stores feature dedicated Electric Bike Centres and offer a wide range of products and services to all types of cyclists, from children learning to ride their first bike, through to performance athletes. They are now on the lookout for an experienced Cycle Technician to join their team in Whitwell, Nr. Oakham

The Role:

Repairing and maintaining a full range of bikes (entry level to high end specs). Supporting the Store Manager and other team members, providing industry-leading quality and service to our large customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking repairs and maintenance of bikes to a high technical standard

Taking personal responsibility for the quality of all work undertaken, ensuring check lists and other workshop records are fully maintained, with an emphasis on delivering a high level of customer service. Taking bookings, dealing with enquiries and issues, communicating with customers by telephone, electronically and in person. Undertaking sales on the workshop front desk, providing a friendly and efficient service to customers

Skills & qualifications required:

Ideally you will be Cytech trained but not essential as experience is just as important

Ability to work as part of a team within the stores and the wider company.

Capacity to learn quickly and communicate effectively

Excellent attention to detail coupled with the ability to work quickly and efficiently

Passionate about all things bike related
