What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team as a Group Head of Marketing and Online Sales, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining and building a unified marketing and online sales team. Duties include and are not limited to:

  • Production and ongoing refinement of a marketing and online sales strategy for the Group based on the Group’s requirements and the prevailing and anticipated market conditions
  • The oversight and appropriate growth of a strong team component covering inbound lead handling to OEM lead handling standards
  • The oversight and growth of an ambitious and driven online sales team component who are motivated to help customers transact online or via the digital team
  • Through competitor analysis and appropriate research, identification of currently missed opportunities within marketing and online sales and implementation of improvement plans
  • To ensure that all digital marketing techniques are appropriately utilised to maximise the exposure of the Group’s digital assets
  • The inception and oversight of consistent, compliant and accurate marketing campaigns that share best practice where appropriate across the Group’s brands and assets
  • Proactively identifying areas of improvement in each division’s presentation of its products and offers and sharing best practice of this between divisions to mutual benefit
  • Supporting the marketing manager and digital sales manager to achieve their targets, and providing coaching and mentoring to key individuals where required

What are we looking for?

As the ideal Group Head of Marketing and Online Sales, you’ll have senior management experience of marketing and online sales operation, or a deep knowledge of either online sales or marketing and a working knowledge of the other. You will also possess:

  • Ability to manage staff, budgets and balancing competing end user requests
  • Ability to manage and control suppliers and negotiate contracts
  • Knowledge of PPC and SEO
  • Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of at least one social media management tool
  • Experience of at least one lead management system and CRM
  • Experience of at least one CMS and overall high standard of IT literacy
  • Strong English language literacy, a firm grasp of grammar and strong presentational skills
