Job Role

Manage the Parts operations within the dealership to maximize return on investment through; optimizing processes to ensure internal and external guest satisfaction, growing profitable parts sales, exercising disciplined expense control, attracting and retaining outstanding talent and effectively engaging department personnel. Whilst achieving departmental KPIs and ensuring all manufacturer standards are met in line with current limits of authority.

1. Establish realistic and achievable parameters for departmental budgets, enabling these to be agreed at senior level and ensuring the sustained profitability for the department.

2. Recruit, coach and appraise associates, developing the potential of the team and the department’s effectiveness.

3. Check the maintenance and condition of the Parts department premises and equipment, ensuring these do comply with business and safety needs and provide recommendations for capital expenditure.

4. Establish and monitor standards and processes relating to parts availability, stock control, and administration and marketing to meet guest expectations.

5. Coach members of the Parts department on a day-to-day basis, holding team meetings and discussions to develop the team’s knowledge and morale. This will include developing any Parts trainees and future succession and development planning.

6. Instigate stock checks, complying with auditing requirements and reconciling book stock

Work Pattern

This is a permanent full-time position:

· Monday – Friday

· Saturdays on rota basis

Successful applicants will possess and be able to offer;

* Full UK Driving Licence with no major endorsements.
* A minimum of 2 two years’ experience within this position or similar.
* Franchise experience is desirable
* Excellent customer service experience and the ability to handle conflicting demands
* Possess excellent communication, organisation an inter-personal skills
* Be enthusiastic, respectful and friendly to guests and colleagues.
* Possess a positive / can-do attitude.
* Have the passion and ability to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
* Possess high levels of integrity and drive to succeed.
* Computer literate, including Microsoft Office
