We’re looking for a new full-time Pricing Analyst to work from our Head Office in Hillington.


Full-time: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (with 30 minutes for lunch)

About the role

The purpose of this role is to assist with the development of our commercial competitive positioning within the automotive industry. You’ll do this by performing regular competitor analysis and by providing detailed reports which cover a wide range of pricing activities.

We’re looking for someone with strong IT skills, particularly when it comes to Microsoft software packages and Power BI. You’ll know how to manipulate and analyse large sets of data and you’ll have an ability to consistently deliver highly accurate and detailed information within tight deadlines.

This is a hybrid role which will involve three days in the office and two at home.

Day-to-day duties

* To monitor competitor vehicle prices by using appropriate industry pricing systems and create pricing analysis

* To review new pricing set-ups on a daily basis and correctly price the item in line with departmental gross margin and mark up structures

* To create weekly/monthly price file reviews

* To review, analyse and report on monthly price movements

* Retail vehicle price positioning

* Master file data maintenance

* To monitor gross margin and provide exception reports for low margin sales/purchases

* Design and implement a pricing policy/structure

* Excellent time, interpersonal and organisational skills

* The ability to work calmly under pressure and to strict deadlines

* Highly self-motivated and can work on own initiative

* Excellent written English skills

* Must have the ability to present at board level

* A meticulous attention to detail

Nice to have but not essential…

* Educated to degree level or has the relevant workplace experience

* Highly proficient with all Microsoft products, a good understanding or Power BI would be useful

* May suit a graduate looking to break into a dynamic company
