Job Summary

This position plays a key role in supporting our small accounts team. Specific responsibilities include scanning, registering and posting Purchase Invoices. Purchase Ledger reconciliations to statements, liaising with all depots and departments and posting Petty Cash.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to train and develop in supporting other areas of the accounts department and become an all-round team player.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inputting and allocating Purchase Invoices
  • Reconciling Purchase Ledger Accounts

Person Specification

  • Highly numerate and competent computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Good communications skills along with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to operate independently and with minimal supervision
  • Good telephone manor
  • An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to build excellent working relationships with both customers and colleagues
  • Quick to learn
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and flexible
