We’re looking for someone who has an automotive body shop or service background, who is organised, self-motivated and commercially orientated to take complete ownership of the end-to-end vehicle returns process, while implementing and maintaining processes to ensure the required quality standards are maintained at all times. This exciting position would be ideal for somebody who is currently employed as a Service Advisor or working within a vehicle repair & body shop environment and are looking for the next step in their personal development and career. Based at our third party supplier’s site in Doncaster, you’ll apply your analytical skill-set with meticulous attention to detail, to create, maintain and analyse daily reports of all used vehicle returns and de-fleet activities while continuously seeking and implementing process improvements to create efficiencies. You’ll also use your excellent knowledge of the motor vehicle industry to review monthly KPI’s, audit results and customer recharges to ensure that all used vehicles are processed within agreed SLA’s whilst maintaining the standards required for onward marketing via the online sales platform. As a true specialist in your field, you’ll use your excellent communication skills to liaise with, and present to, stakeholders across all levels within Vans as well as our colleagues within Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and our third party supplier. You’ll also take the lead on the contract return process, highlighting and investigating any trends in the condition of vehicles and, if required, recommend process improvements to assist in damage reduction and customer operating methods. Using your excellent IT skills, you’ll also ensure the used van system is kept up to date to ensure the supporting systems remain efficient.
