The Company

Our client is one of London’s most convenient bicycle repair and serving company with 3 centrally located London stores, fully equipped with bike stands, huge shadow tool boards and a full selection of Park Tool tooling. They also have a full inventory of stock using a digital customer booking platform.

The Role

We seek employees who are fun, energetic, customer friendly and hard working. The bicycle mechanic’s primary responsibilities include tuning and maintaining bikes at our stores. The bicycle mechanic’s job is very important as we depend on well prepared bicycles to make the customer’s experience.

Role Responsibilities:

Identify problems with a bike

Estimate the cost of repairs and give quotes

Carry out a bike service and safety check

Carry out repairs, maintenance tasks and replace parts

Order bike parts and keep a log of stock

Take bookings for repairs and process paperwork

Liaise with suppliers and dealers

Attend cycling events to provide repairs and technical support

Essential Skills & Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ workshop experience

Current knowledge of the cycling industry

Good communication skills

Experience working in a team

Good organisational skills
