Workshop Controller, Wakefield
Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000

Basic: £30,000
OTE: £36,000 – £42,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00, with a Saturday Rota

Our vehicle technicians are at the centre of this, ensuring all cars that come through our service centre are serviced to a high standard and our workshop controller manages that process and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Working in one of our state-of-the-art service centres, variety is the spice of life here at CarShop you will not be working on a single make or model. With over 9,000 cars in-group stock at any one time plus a vast network of customers, you never know what you will be working on next. You will:

* Receive customer enquiries by phone and in person and ensure that all needs and requirements are met.

* Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken as well as expected completion times.

* Ensure all work was completed.

* Make sure that cash sales are charged, and money collected.

We’ll also offer training and development, as well as great career opportunities in our fast-growing business. Our target is to be double the size we are today in the next three years.

We don’t have a huge list of requirements for our team leaders, but would be great if you have:

* A professional and well-presented person with a passion for customer service.

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Brilliant attention to detail.

* Experience in the motor industry especially in a service centre environment.

A passion and interest in cars with a desire to learn more about servicing and mechanical work.

A full UK/EU Driving license is essential for this role.
