CUSTOMERS will be encouraged to keep their car within the Kia dealer network for routine servicing, with a brand-new scheme.
This, boasts the company, is through a monthly payment, potentially costing the same as a Chinese take-away.
The Kia Service Plan is, in essence, a monthly payment scheme. Customers can choose how much they pay, building reserves to pay for annual services.
Kia use a Direct Debit of £15 a month, over a set period of three years, as an example. And it’s not restricted to new cars, either. What’s more, those who purchased a Kia a year ago can also still join in.
Hamish McCowan, aftersales director at Kia Motors (UK) Ltd, illustrated the benefits to customers: ‘Most of us run our lives by Direct Debit so why not set one up for your vehicle servicing too? By introducing this payment plan Kia is trying to make things easier on customer’s wallets without compromising on the level of service on their Kia’
‘And there really is no catch – customers can tailor the plan to suit them and the monthly Direct Debit price is fixed for the duration of the plan. So it not only offers customers protection against inflation, but also means that servicing your car is one less thing to worry about.’
The scheme is now rolling out with Kia dealers nationwide.
