Manheim retains GMAC

38163vau.jpgA nine-year relationship will now enter its second decade, as GMAC Finance signs a three-year solus deal with Manheim Auctions.

The deal is for the disposal of all its voluntary terminations, repossessions and PCP product.

This will see over 9000 vehicles being disposed of during the length of the contract.

GMAC originally signed with Manheim back in 1999, and Manheim’s corporate fleet sales director Mark Potter is pleased to see it continue.

‘I believe we have developed a very good working relationship over the past nine years, and I am confident that we will continue to support and enhance GMAC Finance’s remarketing strategy for many years to come,’ he said.

GMAC Finance will have a dedicated sale programme for reconditioned stock at five Manheim centres – Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, Rotherham and Wimbledon. Part of the contract is to also utilise Manheim’s recently-enhanced ‘Inspect and Collect’ defleet service on all models.
