‘Carole has been with the business for four years, having honed her skills in the retail and distribution sectors.
‘In that time, she has introduced a new level of professionalism when it comes to the management of our most valuable resource – our people.
‘This is a much deserved promotion which recognises the central role Carole and HR have in our business.’
Commenting on her promotion, Minter added: ‘Daksh was kind enough to tell me of my promotion in front of the entire board, including Michael and Robert Marshall.
‘We have come a long way from where we were when I joined but with Daksh’s arrival we have changed gear and the future just got really exciting for us!
‘My team and I are currently in the process of reshaping the delivery of our service to ensure that we meet the needs of my fellow directors to take the business further.’
Marshall recently launched its 21 Century Customer programme to promote innovation and continuous improvement throughout the business as well as running employee surveys to address the concerns and issues employees may have.
Marshall employs around 1,600 people across the group and has recently expanded its managerial team by appointing six new staff to the director’s board.
