MB&G tie-up a ‘Brite’ idea!

Time 8:15 am, May 14, 2008

A COLLABORATION between warranty provider MB&G and Jewelultra will give car dealers a double profit opportunity when they choose Diamondbrite branded car warranties administered by MB&G.

The new partnership means car dealers representing major manufacturers from Aston Martin to Vauxhall will be able to offer customers the dual benefit of Diamondbrite’s industry-leading vehicle paint and fabric protection, along with cover from a range of comprehensive mechanical and electrical breakdown warranties.

A vehicle treated with the Diamondbrite Process will retain its showroom appearance and will not need polishing for six years from the date the product is applied. The paint will not fade in ultraviolet light, and gives a seven-day resistance to bird droppings. The seats and carpets are also guaranteed not to stain from everyday liquids such as milk, coffee, coke and fizzy drinks.

Many dealers, including major motor groups, use the Diamondbrite products already, and combining the offer with a top quality mechanical and electrical warranty provides the dealer with another profit opportunity, and potentially unique offer to its customer base.

Kevin Pearce, MB&G’s operations director, said: ‘We pride ourselves on providing an excellent level of customer service, so a top class product like Diamondbrite is a perfect match for us.

‘Our partnership with Diamondbrite will also give us the opportunity to expand the strong relationship we have built up with our used car warranty customers to include more new car dealers.’

Lance Boseley, sales and marketing director of Jewelultra added: ‘We have been looking at joining forces with a warranty provider for some time as we were confident that our customer base would respond to an expanded offer from us. When we began discussions with MB&G we knew we had found the right partner to work with our brand.

‘We will have a range of warranty products branded as Jewelultra Diamondbrite products, reflecting the quality and high value offering that marks our products out from the rest of the market.’

The partnership between MB&G and Jewelultra will enable each respective company’s sales force to promote and sell each other’s product range. Following the initial launch, there will be a nationwide dealer recruitment drive during the summer.
