AUTHORISED Ford repairers have been given a boost; contract hire and leasing specialist Masterlease has appointed them to service and repair its Ford models.
That’s business from nearly 7500 Ford cars and light commercials – annual business worth £2.5million.
‘Masterlease’s decision means that as many as 5,000 extra units will now be handled by Ford’s 620-strong Authorised Repairer network,’ said Ford fleet aftermarket manager, Andy Nicholson.
‘Ford has the UK’s largest network of Authorised Repairers. They have to be competitive in terms of quality of work and price and they provide a one-stop shop for service and warranty work.’
As you no doubt know, to be an authorised repairer, you need comprehensive tools and three years’ basic training: a further half of all Ford AR technicians go on to become Master Technicians.
‘Ford has demonstrably supported its dealer network to win this valuable work,’ said Anthony Dowdall, head of in-life services and contracts at Masterlease.
‘Masterlease will receive consistent standards and pricing for our service and repair business, and our customers will have the comfort of their Ford service histories bearing Ford dealer stamps.’
