New web for Benfield

Time 8:44 am, June 30, 2008

AN award-winning website developer has won the contract to provide Benfield Motor Group with a true 21st century website.

The new site, it’s said, will significantly improve customer interactivity, making both research and purchase much easier.

Newcastle-based Enigma Interactive specialises in advanced website development, multimedia solutions and bespoke software production. It’s been consulting with Benfield for three months, to get a full understanding of both the company’s and customer’s needs.

‘Wow’ features of the new site will include technology enabling cars to be photographed from nine different angles. This will show a ‘full’ view’ of the car, inside and out. There is also an interactive car selector boasting a wide range of search criteria – on both new and used vehicles.

Benfield will easily be able to control the ‘back end’, ensuring it’s bang up to date, and customers will also be able to task Benfield with finding what they’re looking for; the company has access to a nationwide stock locator.

Customers will also be able to store reminders for MOTs, servicing and insurance renewal, plus arrange to pay for everything except insurance online.

Neil Lewis, producer at Enigma Interactive, said: ‘Working with Benfield is a great project. We obtained a valuable insight into the company and its commitment to customers, by working closely with members of the team. So far, we have achieved great results using our expert knowledge and utilising the latest digital media technologies.’
