Proton price falls

56078pro.jpgLEAVES are falling, etc. And, now autumn’s approaching, so are Proton prices.

£6995 is the rather dramatic headline-grabbing price of the limited edition Gen-2 1.3 GLS LE.

That’s £2k off list price – for, remember, a model that sits slap between superminis and family hatchbacks. There’s a 1.6-litre available, too, for £7495. Both models come with twin airbags, air con and electric front windows.


More kit is also available on the GSX LE. This throws in climate control, side airbags, rear spoiler and electric windows. Plus the choice of manual or automatic gearboxes.

Offers here chop up to £2800 off the list price – £8495 or the manual or £8995 for the auto. It doesn’t end there, either. Proton, for now, also chucks in £1000 of free leather.

The special deals are on offer until 31st October 2008. While, as Proton tells dealers, as stock lasts…
