SsangYong special savers

087142500_1213887432.jpgNO deposit? That’s SsangYong’s latest offer to retail customers.

For anyone financing a Kyron 2.0 S or Rodius 270 S – both costing £14,995 – the company will pay the £3299 deposit. Customers simply pay £249 a month for 59 months.

There are other offers throughout the range too, such as free upgrades: sell a manual Kyron (that’s the compact SUV model) and you’ll be able to throw in automatic transmission for free, too.

As for special editions, there’s SsangYong’s huge seven-seat MPV, the Rodius, in 270 S+ trim. This is £15,995, but adds alloys and full leather for all seven seats. Let’s also not forget free servicing for three years or 30k miles on the 2.7 Rexton. Oh, and there’s free sat nav on selected models as well.

All this reinforces the company’s claim of offering well-equipped, practical machines for value-hunters, rather than premium brand (and price) devotees. In the current economic climate, there may be more of them out there than we realise…
