ACCIDENT Exchange has launched a new service, supplying those repairing high-end supercars with like-for-like replacements.
Interventionrental.com provides models such as the Porsche 911, Audi Q7, BMW X5 and – amazingly – Bentley Continental GTs, to Accident Exchange approved business account customers.
These include accident management providers, insurers, nationwide car hire and credit hire operators. And as the fleet is 6000-strong – the largest in Europe – such businesses should have no trouble finding a match.
It means accident management companies meet insurance requirements to provide identical replacement cars while a customer’s car is being fixed. Those with car parcs not as big as Accident Exchange’s would otherwise struggle.
Steve Evans, chief executive of Accident Exchange, said: ‘The site will not only service a need from the marketplace, it will allow businesses operating within the sector the opportunity to improve their customer satisfaction by having real-time access to the most comprehensive prestige fleet in the UK.’
So what’s in it for you? Well, the prestige sector accounts for a fifth of all new car sales. There’s a fair chance that, if a customer prangs their car, it could be a premium make.
This service allows you to offer a like-for-like replacement – and therefore you can offer the repair service that gets them back on the road. Great aftersales business.
What’s more, it’s web-based, with real-time availability. You can thus see there and then whether the car is in stock, so you can make a decision.
Worth looking into if you’re considering enhancing your aftersales and workshop activity.
