SYTNER Group has achieved the highest accolade of any motor retail group in the UK, by achieving fourth position in the Sunday Times 20 Best Big Companies to Work For 2008 guide.

The guide is an annual assessment of employee satisfaction and the prestige motor retail group has entered the top category dominated by the financial services industry.

The Sunday Times guide was created four years ago in recognition of the challenges faced by larger organisations striving to maintain motivated employees.

Sytner Group has accelerated faster than many companies in the UK to gain recognition for excellent workplace policies, with a focus on attracting and retaining the very best people, while delivering outstanding business performance

Sytner Group managing director Gerard Nieuwenhuys said: ‘Our company aim has always been to be the best company to work for and the best company to do business with.

‘This is an incredibly strong message to live up to, but one that the whole team has embraced through an open and honest culture, within which all employees can flourish and celebrate success. I am delighted that the Sunday Times has recognised the achievements of our dedicated and passionate employees.’
