Trust tech to Germany

Time 8:49 am, August 11, 2008

38181imi.jpgTRUST Group UK will be represented by a master technician in the Volkswagen Service Qualifications world championships.

The competition, held in Wolfsburg, is open to all master technicians for the VW network. Competitors qualify through exams on both practical and theoretical vehicle diagnostics and repair.

Either Lee Jones, from Wolverhampton Volkswagen, and Anthony Webb, from Trust Stourbridge, will be one of 10 UK VW representatives competing for the world title.

But before Germany, it’s off to Milton Keynes, for further intense assessment and drilling from Volkswagen HQ. That’s where either Jones or Webb will be selected.

Andrew Hockedy, Trust Group UK’s managing director, commented: ‘We are delighted to see members of our team reach this national position. With over 500 UK entries, it is testament to their hard work, expertise and sheer professionalism that they have achieved this prestigious level.’

‘We wish them success and look forward to seeing one of them heading to Germany.’
