Tune into insurance

Time 8:43 am, August 13, 2008

wolfrace_insurance.jpgTUNING specialists Wolfrace, those of alloy wheel fame, have moved into car insurance.

This is in response to difficulties some tuning fans have in finding cover for their modded motors.

The company claims not only to offer ‘the most competitive rates in the UK’, but also tailor policies to the specific needs of the tuned cars covered.

Often, such bespoke cars are heavily penalised by insurers scared of their specialist natures.

Policyholders will even get a free set of locking alloy wheel nuts – and 10 per cent off all products at www.wolfrace.com.

Wolfrace marketing manager, Chris Cooks explained: ‘Our big advantage over our competitors is that our team really understands the industry. We know how well modified car owners look after their cars – and adjust our premiums accordingly.’

‘We also understand the real difference that upgrades make to your car. In most cases, they won’t load your premium as they can with many other insurers. We’ve been improving the nation’s cars since 1971, so we have a pretty clear picture by now!’

Let’s face it, tuning cars up is a growing business. So if you’ve taken in some tricky cars in stock, which you’re struggling to shift because potential buyers can’t get insurance, now you’ve salvation.
